Mix Base Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp grated ginger
1 clove minced garlic
Simmer
Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until aromatic and slightly reduced.
(Optional) Thicken
If a thicker glaze is preferred:
In a small bowl, mix 1 tsp cornstarch with 2 tsp water to form a slurry.
Add to the simmering sauce while stirring constantly.
Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Rest & Serve
Remove from heat and let the sauce sit for about 2 minutes before using. Drizzle over freshly roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
