Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti pasta
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth or white wine, optional
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook Shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook 2-3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Make Sauce: Pour in chicken broth (or white wine) and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Combine: Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until pasta is well coated in the sauce.
